AI in Math

Artificial Intelligence Middle School Multi-Sequence Several Classes

The AI in Math program provides students the opportunity to develop AI literacy and self-efficacy in solving problems using AI and learning AI topics, and to simultaneously improve their math learning and attitudes toward math. AI literacy is a set of competencies that enables individuals to critically evaluate AI technologies; communicate and collaborate effectively with AI; and use AI as a tool online, at home, and in the workplace. Through a series of progressively complex tasks, students explore text analysis in relationship to algebraic equations with the goal of ultimately creating a working sentiment analysis model.

The AI in Math program resources below have been developed for the 2026-2027 school year for use by pilot schools across the US.
